COVID-19 Update

UPDATE : July 8, 2020

To our Musical Families,

We have been thinking a lot about you lately – our staff – our students and our community. Your health and well being is our top priority. We are doing our part to protect our community by reducing the transmission of COVID-19 and following the recommendations of Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.

On June 12, 2020 Dr. Hinshaw announced the continued ban on all summer events for 2020. The order prohibits gatherings of more than 50 people, and physical distancing of 2 meters must continue to be maintained for at least the next several months.

In accordance with this newest order we will be postponing our 40th anniversary workshop until August 2021. Last year we had almost 200 students and more than 25 staff and we were anticipating even greater numbers this year in light of our 40 years as a community-based music workshop.

We would like to thank everyone for their support as we continue to navigate these challenges.

The Calgary Regional Summer Band Workshop is STRONG and we look forward to seeing everyone next year. We will continue to offer the outstanding workshop that you have all come to know. Please check our website, for the most up to date information.

As always if you have any questions please reach out to us at:
